Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026.

The short version

We collect as little as we can get away with. We don't sell anything to anyone. We don't run ad networks on the site. The only data we deliberately gather is the e-mail address you give us when you subscribe to the newsletter — and even that you can have us delete by replying to any newsletter with the word "remove".

What we collect

  • Newsletter e-mails. Stored only so we can send you the newsletter.
  • Contact-form messages. Your name, e-mail and message, stored so we can answer you.
  • Basic server logs. Standard web-server access logs (IP, user-agent, page requested, timestamp). Kept for 30 days, then deleted.
  • A first-party analytics cookie. Used to count visits anonymously. No cross-site tracking, no third-party scripts.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell, rent, or share your data with marketers.
  • We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracker.
  • We don't profile you across sessions or devices.
  • We don't run programmatic ads of any kind.

Cookies

See the Cookies Policy. Short version: we set one consent cookie when you click "Accept", so we don't show you the banner every time. That's it.

Your rights

Under GDPR (we treat all visitors as if they were covered, even outside the EU), you can ask us to:

  • show you what we have about you;
  • correct anything wrong;
  • delete it all.

Send any of these requests through the contact page with the subject PRIVACY. We'll respond within five working days.

Data location

Our newsletter and contact data are stored on a server in the European Union. We never copy them anywhere else.

Children

The site is intended for readers 16 and older. If you're younger than that, please don't submit any forms.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and announce the change in the newsletter. We will never silently expand what we collect.

Questions

Real questions get real answers. Use the contact form.
