By using GameSet Grotto, you agree to be a reasonable adult about it. That's the whole deal. The rest is detail.
Use of content
All articles, reviews and essays published on the Grotto are © GameSet Grotto unless otherwise stated. You may:
- quote short passages with attribution and a link back to the original;
- share full URLs on social media, in newsletters, in Discord servers, and so on;
- print a piece for personal use.
You may not:
- republish full articles on another site, with or without attribution;
- train large language models on this content without our written permission;
- use our wording or branding to imply we endorse a product, studio, or person.
Images
Most images on the site are either ours or are used under fair use for review and commentary purposes. If you own an image we've used and would like it credited differently or removed, contact us through the contact form and we'll act within 24 hours.
User submissions
If you send us a tip, a pitch, or a correction, you grant us the right to act on it — including to publish relevant excerpts if we run with the story — unless your message says otherwise. We'll honour off-the-record requests in good faith.
Newsletter
By subscribing you agree to receive the newsletter, roughly every two weeks, from us. You can leave at any time by replying with "remove", or via the unsubscribe link in any issue.
No warranty
The site is provided "as is". We work hard to keep facts straight, but we are a small team and we make mistakes. If we get something wrong, the responsible thing to do is to tell us — see the contact page.
Changes
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and mention it in the newsletter.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the European Union member state our hosting is based in. If you sue us, please bring a strong argument and a clear sentence.
